Η Gillette είναι αμερικανική επωνυμία ξυραφιών ασφαλείας και άλλων προϊόντων προσωπικής φροντίδος, συμπεριλαμβανομένων των ειδών ξυρίσματος, που ανήκει στην πολυεθνική εταιρεία Procter & Gamble (P&G). Με έδρα τη Βοστώνη της Μασαχουσέτης, ανήκε στην The Gillette Company, προμηθευτή προϊόντων με διάφορες μάρκες μέχρι που η εταιρεία αυτή συγχωνεύτηκε με την P&G το 2005. Η Gillette Company ιδρύθηκε από τον King C. Gillette το 1901 ως παραγωγός ξυραφιών ασφαλείας.[1]

Υπό την ηγεσία του Colman M. Mockler Jr. ως Διευθύνοντος Συμβούλου από το 1975 έως το 1991[2], η εταιρεία έγινε στόχος πολλαπλών προσπαθειών εξαγοράς από τον Ronald Perelman [3] και την Coniston Partners.
