Im Alpsege werd d Maria agrueffe, di hailigi Trinität und meriri Hailigi, wo för de Schutz vor wilde Tier, wie Bäär, Wolf oder Giir, vor Unwetter, Hagel und Sturm, vor Stürz und Staischlag bette wered, aber au för s Gidaie und Wachse vom Vech.

Er werd zerstmol ane 1565 vom Renwart Cysat i sim Gschichtswerch Collectanea Chronica gnennt. Noch der Reforamtioo isch er i verschidnige Piet verbotte wore, do er offesichtlich nöd em noie christliche Verständnis entsproche het. I de katholische Piet aber isch er bis hütt no as lebigs Bruuchttum und as e wichtige Bistandtail vo de Volksfrömmigkait blibe. Wenn de Alpsege entstande isch, do dröbe cha allerdings nu spekuliert were.
