Zatrachys adalah sebuah genus temnospondyl zatracheid besar berkepala pipih punah dari periode Perem Awal New Mexico[1][2] dan Oklahoma.[3]

Seperti zatracheid lainnya, Zatrachys dengan mudah dikenal dengan hadirnya bukaan besar di moncongnya, yaitu fontanel atau fenestra internarial. Dari tiga genera zatracheid, Zatrachys menjadi yang terbesar, memanjang ke belakang hingga membagi nasalnya secara keseluruhan sekaligus membagi frontalnya secara sebagian, yang menjadi ciri khas dari kelompoknya (autapomorfi).
