Waltheria adalah sebuah spesies tumbuhan berbunga dalam famili Malvaceae. Terkadang, genus ini ditempatkan dalam Sterculiaceae. Waltheria mencakup 61 spesies yang berasal dari Amerika tropis dan subtropis, Afrika Barat, Madagaskar, Semenanjung Malaysia, Australia utara, dan Pasifik tengah. Namanya menghormati ahli botani Jerman, Augustin Friedrich Walther (1688–1746).[4]
