Tylecodon leucothrix adalah spesies Tylecodon yang berasal dari Little Karoo bagian timur di Afrika Selatan. Tumbuhan ini pertama kali dideskripsikan di dalam Bothalia oleh Toelken pada tahun 1978.[1]
Bunga
Bunganya tumbuh pada tangkai pendek dan menyerupai banyak bunga Tylecodon lainnya. Bunganya berbentuk tabung, biasanya berwarna putih atau merah muda, dan memiliki kelopak yang melengkung ke arah luar.[2]
Deskripsi tanaman
Tylecodon leucothrix adalah tanaman kaudisiform dengan daun berbulu halus. Tanaman ini mengalami masa dormansi di musim panas dan memiliki struktur menyerupai duriTemplat:Typo help inline yang agak tajam, kemungkinan berfungsi untuk mencegah herbivora.
