Telofase

Telophase (dari bahasa Yunani Kuno τέλος (télos), artinya "akhir, hasil, penyelesaian", dan φάσις (phásis), artinya "tampak") adalah tahap terakhir proses mitosis dan meiosis dalam sel eukariotik.[1] Selama telofase, pengaruh profase dan prometafase (meluruhnya nukleolus dan membran inti) dibalik. Seiring kromosom mencapai kutub-kutub sel, sebuah selubung nukleus tersusun ulang di sekitar tiap susunan kromatid, nukleolus hadir kembali, dan kromosom-kromosom mulai tidak nampak (dekondensasi) menjadi kromatin-kromatin yang diperluas, seperti yang dapat dilihat selama interfase. Pemintal kromosom pada sel terbongkar sementara mikrotubulus-mikrotubulus spindel yang tersisa ter-depolimerisasi. Telofase mencakup sekitar 2% dari keseluruhan durasi siklus sel.
