Takydromus adalah genus/marga kadal bertubuh panjang dan ramping yang tersebar di Asia bagian selatan hingga tenggara.[1]

Pengenalan

Kadal-kadal ini memiliki ekor yang sangat panjang dan tubuh yang sangat langsing dan ramping. Sebagian besar spesies berwarna cokelat keabu-abuan atau cokelat kekuningan. Hampir semua spesies merupakan kadal yang bisa memanjat dan menghabiskan sebagian besar waktunya di atas pohon dan di semak-semak atau rerumputan tinggi. Semua spesies berkembangbiak dengan bertelur.[2]
