Siluridae adalah keluarga ikan dalam ordo Siluriformes (ikan berkumis). Sekitar 105 spesiesnya ditempatkan dalam 12[1] atau 14 genera.[2]

Anggota keluarga Siluridae sangat beragam, dengan ciri khas yang tidak terlalu banyak di antara semua spesies, tetapi beberapa yang utama termasuk gigantisme (ukuranya yang lebih besar), dan versi atribut yang lebih kecil yang dimiliki Ikan berkumis seperti biasanya, seperti sirip dan kumis yang lebih kecil. Ikan berkumis dalam famili ini tidak memiliki duri sebelum sirip punggung atau sirip adiposa, dan sirip perutnya kecil atau tidak ada. Dasar sirip dubur biasanya sangat panjang.[1] Spesies terbesar dalam famili ini adalah Silurus glanis (Lele Wels),[1] yang dapat tumbuh hingga panjang lebih dari 3 m dan berat hingga 140 kg.
