Setengah kebenaran

Setengah kebenaran adalah pernyataan yang diucapkan bertujuan untuk menghindari atau menipu dari sebuah pertanyaan. Pernyataan yang diutarakan bisa seluruhnya benar, tetapi belum tentu hal tersebut sesuai dengan konteks yang sedang dibahas pada saat itu. Di dalam pernyataan setengah kebenaran, bisa terdapat kebenaran juga kebohongan sekaligus, sehingga batas antara kebohongan dan kejujuran tidak dapat terlihat jelas.[1]
