Salama Moussa (1887–1958) (Ar: سلامه موسى) berasal dari keluarga Koptik yang kaya di kota Zagazig di delta Sungai Nil.[1] Salama Musa adalah seorang jurnalis, penulis, pendukung sekularisme, dan perintis sosialisme Arab. Ia menulis dan menerjemahkan 45 buku; tulisan-tulisannya masih mempengaruhi pikiran bangsa Arab. Salama Musa berkampanye melawan agama tradisional dan mendorong masyarakat Mesir mengikuti budaya Eropa.[2]
