Eurya atau rerengit adalah genus dari sekitar 70 spesies tumbuhan berbunga dalam keluarga Pentaphylacaceae. [1]

Catatan fosil

Beberapa benih fosil Eurya stigmosa telah dideskripsikan dari strata Miosen Tengah di kawasan Fasterholt dekat Silkeborg di Jutland tengah, Denmark. [2] Makrofosil Eurya juga telah dideskripsikan dari strata Zanclean akhir Pliosen di Pocapaglia, Italia. [3] Fosil benih Eurya stigmosa juga dilaporkan dari Pleistosen Awal (tahap Calabria) Pulau Madeira (Samudera Atlantik, Portugal) [4]

Jenis

Daun Eurya dimakan oleh ulat beberapa Lepidoptera, seperti Ectropis crepuscularia.
