Pulau Booth

Pulau Booth (atau Pulau Wandel) adalah pulau berbentuk-Y yang terbentang sepanjang 5 mil dan setinggi 980 m, yang terletak di pantai barat semenanjung Antarktika di Antarktika yang merupakan bagian dari kepulauan Wilhelm. Pulau Booth terletak di 65°05′S 64°00′W / 65.08°S 64.0°W / -65.08; -64.0. Pulau ini ditemukan oleh ekspedisi Jerman yang dipimpin oleh Dallmann 1873-1874, dan dinamai dari Oskar Booth atau Stanley Booth, atau keduanya. Nama "Pulau Wandel" berasal dari Ekspedisi Antarktika Belgia tahun 1897-1899, tetapi nama ini ditolak oleh Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names. Puncak tertinggi pulau ini adalah "Puncak Wandel" setinggi 980 m.
