Pactomania

Pactomania adalah sebuah istilah yang digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan periode traktat yang dibuat oleh Amerika Serikat pada awal Perang Dingin.[1] Pada masa Kepresidenan Dwight D. Eisenhower, Amerika Serikat, utamanya melalui upaya-upaya Sekretaris Negara John Foster Dulles, membentuk aliansi dengan 42 negara terpisah bersama dengan hubungan traktat dengan sekitar 100 negara,[2] dimana para pengamat disebut sebagai "pactomania."[3]
