Louder Than Words (SA Bachman+Neda Moridpour)[1]

Neda Moridpour adalah seorang seniman, pendidik dan penyelenggara[2] yang merupakan salah satu pendiri dari dua kolaborasi seniman-aktivis, Louder Than Words bersama dengan SA Bachman[3] dan [P]Art Collective[4] dengan Pouya Afshar.[5] Moridpour adalah seorang futuris budaya keturunan Kurdi-Iran, saat ini Ia adalah Fellow di MIT Open Documentary Lab melalui Royal Shakespeare Company Interterdisciplinary Fellowship Program.[6]

Forum Publik untuk Kebebasan: #MeToo dan Perubahan Struktural yang Substansial

Karya Moridpour menyelidiki siklus kekerasan yang menyebabkan penggusuran, ketidaksetaraan gender dan ras, sekaligus membangun dialog dan berupaya memobilisasi komunitas.

"Louder Than Words" menerima penghargaan Women's Caucus for Art International Honor Roll pada 2014. [P]Art Collective memenangkan hadiah pertama di Festival Film Pendek Farhang Foundation. Karyanya telah dipamerkan di AS, Iran, dan Tiongkok dan termasuk dalam koleksi Los Angeles County Museum of Art,[2] The Center for the Study of Political Graphics, dan baru-baru ini dipamerkan dalam Islamic Art Now II: Contemporary Art of the Middle East di LA County Museum of Art (LACMA).

Selain itu, karya animasi pendeknya berjudul La Dolce Vita terpilih secara resmi untuk Festival Film Internasional Buffalo dan Burbank; dan Hamdel Futurist Collaborative.[2]

Di MacDowell, Moridpour mengembangkan “Embodied Resistance in the Digital Age,” sebuah proyek arsip berbasis partisipatif dinamis yang mengeksplorasi persimpangan feminisme, memori, dan teknologi.[2]

Moridpour memegang gelar MFA di bidang Praktik Publik dari Otis College of Art and Design.
