NOAA-1

NOAA-1, juga dikenal sebagai ITOS-A adalah satelit cuaca yang dioperasikan oleh National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Satelit ini merupakan bagian dari serangkaian satelit yang disebut ITOS, atau TIROS yang telah disempurnakan.[1][2]

NOAA 1 (ITOS -A) lepas landas dengan Kendaraan Peluncur Delta 8

NOAA-1 diluncurkan dengan roket Delta pada tanggal 11 Desember 1970. Peluncuran tersebut membawa satu satelit lain: CEP 1. Satelit ini dinonaktifkan oleh NOAA pada tanggal 19 Agustus 1971.
