Mahayag adalah munisipalitas yang terletak di provinsi Zamboanga del Sur, Filipina.

Wilayah ini memiliki jumlah penduduk sebesar 44.087 jiwa.

Sejarah

Mahayag resmi dibentuk sebagai munisipalitas di provinsi Zamboanga Selatan pada 9 Maret 1960 melalui Executive Order No. 393 yang dikeluarkan oleh Presiden Filipina Carlos P. Garcia. Munisipalitas ini merupakan hasil pemekaran dari sebagian barangay di Molave dan Dumingag.
