John Phillips Avlon (lahir 19 Januari 1973)[3] adalah seorang jurnalis dan komentator politik Amerika Serikat. Ia adalah Analis Politik Senior dan pemandu acara di CNN serta kepala redaksi dan direktur utama The Daily Beast dari 2013 sampai 2018.[4][5][6] Avlon sebelumnya menjadi kolumnis dan wakil penyunting untuk The New York Sun dan kepala penulis pidato untuk mantan wali kota New York Rudolph Giuliani.
Pada 2024, ia gagal bersaing untuk kursi Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Amerika Serikat pada daerah pemilihan kongres ke-1 NY, dikalahkan oleh petahana dari Partai Republik Nick LaLota.[7]
