Helixanthera adalah genus berukuran sedang dalam keluarga mistletoe berbunga (showy mistletoe), Loranthaceae.[1] Genus ini memiliki lebih dari 40 spesies dari Afrika tropis, Asia bagian selatan, dan Malesia.[2][3] Genus ini dideskripsikan pada tahun 1790 oleh ahli botani Portugis João de Loureiro dalam karyanya Flora Cochinchinensis. Sebuah spesies baru, Helixanthera schizocalyx, dideskripsikan pada tahun 2010.[4]
