Helicidae adalah sebuah famili besar yang mencakup siput darat berukuran sedang hingga bear dari Palearktika barat yang bernapas udara, terkadang dikenal sebagai "siput biasa". Famili ini mencakup beberapa jenis siput darat Eropa terbesar, beberapa spesies yang umum dijumpai pada habitat antropogenik. dan beberapa yang telah menjadi spesies invasif pada benua lainnya.
