Gobiiformes adalah ordo ikan yang mencakup ikan gobi beserta kerabatnya.[1][2] Ordo yang sebelumnya dianggap sebagai subordo dari Perciformes ini terdiri dari sekitar 2.211 spesies ikan, yang tersebar dalam tujuh famili. Hubungan filogenetik Gobiiformes telah dijelaskan menggunakan data molekuler.[3][4] Sebagian besar anggotanya merupakan ikan yang hidup di laut, hanya sekitar 10 persennya yang hidup di air tawar. Sebagian besar dari anggotanya tidak memiliki kandung kemih gas atau cara lain untuk mengontrol daya apungnya di dalam air, sehingga mereka harus menghabiskan sebagian besar waktunya di atau dekat dasar laut.[5][6] Arti dari nama Gobiiformes berarti "seperti ikan gobi".
