Fateless (bahasa Hungaria: Sorstalanság, terj. har. 'Ketakberdayaan') adalah sebuah novel karya Imre Kertész, Bercerita tentang pengalaman bocah Yahudi-Hungaria berusia 14 tahun di Auschwitz dan Buchenwald. Ditulis antara tahun 1960 dan 1973 dan pertama kali diterbitkan pada tahun 1975. Fateless adalah bagian pertama dari trilogi, yang berlanjut di A kudarc dan Kaddis a meg nem született gyermekért.

Kertész memenangkan Penghargaan Nobel Sastra pada tahun 2002, untuk tulisan yang menjunjung tinggi pengalaman individu rapuh melawan kesewenang-wenangan sejarah. Fateless pertama kali diterjemahkan ke dalam Bahasa Inggris oleh Christopher C. Wilson dan Katharina M. Wilson pada tahun 1992.[1]
