Eurypterus adalah genus punah yang hidup pada periode Silur, di wilayah yang sekarang merupakan Amerika Utara dan Eropa. Genus ini adalah anggota dari ordo Eurypterida yang paling umum diketahui. Fosil pertama dari genus ini ditemukan pada 1818.[2]
