David Bailie

David Bailie (4 Desember 1937 – 6 Maret 2021) adalah seorang aktor asal Afrika Selatan, dikenal atas penampilannya di panggung, televisi, dan film.[1] Pada tahun 1960-an dan 1970-an, ia bekerja untuk National Theatre dan Royal Shakespeare Company, di mana ia menjadi seniman terkait.[2] Di televisi, ia memerankan "Dask" dalam serial Doctor Who tahun 1977 berjudul The Robots of Death, dan juga muncul dalam Blake's 7.[3][4] Di film, ia memerankan "Skewer" dalam Cutthroat Island (1995), seorang Hakim Inggris dalam The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc (1999), dan juga "The Engineer" dalam Gladiator (2000).[1] David Bailie mungkin paling dikenal karena perannya sebagai bajak laut bisu Cotton dalam seri Pirates of the Caribbean.[5] Bailie juga seorang fotografer profesional yang mengkhususkan diri dalam fotografi potret.
