Muraenesocidae atau ikan cunang (bahasa Inggris : pike-conger) dalah keluarga kecil sidat laut yang ditemukan di seluruh dunia, terutama di laut tropis dan subtropis.[2] Beberapa spesiesnya diketahui masuk ke perairan payau. Anggotanya memiliki tubuh silindris, kulit tidak bersisik, kepala sempit dengan mata besar, dan gigi kuat. Sirip punggungnya dimulai dari atas sirip dada yang berkembang dengan baik. Ikan yang agak agresif ini memiliki panjang berkisar antara 60 hingga 250 cm.
