Brumado sebuah kotamadya Bahia, Brasil timur laut, di 555 km dari Salvador, ibu kota negara bagian. Mengukur 2.207.612 kilometer persegi, wilayah perkotaan 2.174 kilometer persegi. Di ketinggian 454 meter.[1] Menurut Brasil Institut Geografi dan Statistik (IBGE), pada tahun 2016, populasi diperkirakan 69.473 orang. Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) adalah 0,656 (rata-rata).[2]

Kota ini dikenal sebagai "Berdoa Modal" karena kaya di banyak mineral, produk utama dari perekonomian daerah. Beberapa perusahaan pertambangan mengeksploitasi bijih di Sierra dari kuda.[3]
