Aysheaia adalah sebuah genus dari lobopodia bertubuh lunak, yang diketahui dari batuan Kambrium Tengah di Batu Burgess, British Columbia, Kanada.
Anatomi
Aysheaia memiliki sepuluh segmen, masing-masing memiliki sepasang kaki bercincin. Aysheaia merupakan hewan bersegmen, yang memiliki bentuk seperti ulat gemuk dengan duri — termasuk enam cuatan mirip jari disekitar mulutnya, dan dua anggota gerak di "kepala"nya. Masing-masing kaki memiliki baris cakar melengkung subterminal.[1] Tidak ditemukan mekanisme rahang pada hewan ini.[2] Posisi anusnya yang mengarah ke belakang (tidak seperti onychophora lainnya, yang mengarah kebelakang) menunjukkan kemungkinan adaptasi untuk hidup didarat.[2][3]
